Recovery in Practice
Join the VCU Humanities Research Center, VCUarts, Rams in Recovery, and Richmond’s Inclusive Recovery City Initiative for Recovery in Practice at the VCU Institute for Contemporary Art from April 17-19. This conference will feature artists, writers, and activists with lived experience with substance use disorders. It will also highlight the important work being done in the Richmond community to celebrate folks in recovery, reduce stigma for people who use drugs, and address the intersectional nexus between recovery and decarceration.
